10 athletes from the institute participated this year in the Intercollegiate Athletic Meet 2016 held at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bangalore from 23 to 27 March 2016.In that 5 students have secured medals.
- Mr. Syed Usaid (Mechanical) won bronze medal in the hammer throw distance of 35.00 meters.
- Mr. Muhammad Ayyad (Civil) won silver medal in the hammer throw distance of 36.44 meters.
- Mr. Muhammad Zimath (Civil) won bronze medal in the pole vault height of 2.70 meters.
- Mr. Philip Nevil Rodrigues (Mechanical) won silver medal in the 400 meter hurdles timing of 1 minute 20 second.
- Mr. Nikhil Naik (Mechanical) won bronze medal in the triple jump 12.70 meters.
