Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Electrical and Electronics Engineering deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. They work on a wide range of components, devices and systems, from tiny microchips to huge power station generators.

Electrical energy is undoubtedly the primary source of energy in the present scenario and hence the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of our institution is engaged in training the students to face the new challenges related to energy and in the other fields of Electrical Engineering. Since its establishment in 1980, this department is continuously involved in improving the quality of the students year after year. Well-equipped laboratories and well-trained faculty members is the hallmark of this department. Expertise and knowledge of our faculty members are used to train the students in laboratories and in classrooms with a challenging but yet an interesting syllabi.

The department has all the Laboratories, well equipped as per the requirement of university. The various Labs include Analog Electronics Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Power Electronics Lab, Microcontroller Lab, DC Machines and Synchronous Machines Lab, Circuit Simulation Lab, Relay & High Voltage Lab. The department has a Project Lab to facilitate the students for their mini projects and for project work during their final year course. The department has a mini library and a very spacious seminar hall. The department provides a platform for the students to showcase their innate talents through the forum ‘Synergy’.
