Workshop on Programming Skills Conducted

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management has organised a Two-Day Workshop on Programming Skills on 1st and 2nd of March 2016. The workshop was marked open with an inaugural ceremony that was held on March 1st at 10.00 am.

The inaugural session was presided by Jb. Kashimji Mohammed Ansar, General Secretary, Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal. The resource person of the workshop Mr. G. Srinivas, Technology Consultant, Hyderabad was the Chief Guest of the function. 

The ceremony began with an invocation by Mr. Unais. Prof. T. M. P. Rajkumar, Head of ECE Dept., welcomed the gathering. Prof. Shareef Bengalath introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering. Mr. G. Srinivas, in his address, highlighted the objectives of the workshop. Technovate e-Newsletter was released during the occasion. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Bhavikatti, Principal, AITM appreciated the department for organizing such an event and motivated the students. Dr. H. Udaya Prasanna, Director, R&D and Prof. H. M. Phalachandra, Vice Principal, AITM were present on the occasion. Jb. Kashimji Mohammed Ansar, in his presidential address, highlighted the importance of organizing such events which bridge the gap between the industry and academics. Miss Prateeksha Naik presented the Vote of Thanks. Mr. Saif and Mr. Danish were the Masters of Ceremony.

Prof. Sarfraz Mirzanaik, Prof. Kiran Shanbhag and Prof. Shrishail Bhat co-ordinated the program. Prof. Subramanya Bhagwath, Media Coordinator was present during the function.

The inaugural was followed by the workshop which extended for two days and was divided into four sessions. Around 100 students from different colleges in and around Bhatkal participated in the workshop.

About the Workshop
This workshop will helpful for engineering, diploma and BCA students, who are going to attend interviews for software MNCs.

About the Resource Person
Mr. G. Srinivas is a Technology Consultant based in Hyderabad. He finished his post-graduation (M.Tech.) in  Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur in 2005. As a freelancer, he has conducted various Training programs in nearly 100 Engineering colleges across various states and has trained nearly 10,000 students on Programming Skills.
