The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management, Bhatkal organised a Technical Talk on the topic “India in Space – Requirements and Achievements” on 22nd February 2020. Shri P. J. Bhat, Retired ISRO Scientist was the Resource Person. In his expert talk, Mr. Bhat stressed on the contributions of ISRO to India’s space programme and explained how ISRO has helped in making day to day life easier apart from milestone projects like Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan. He answered to the queries raised by students at the end of the session and also enlightened on career opportunities in ISRO for engineers.
During the inaugural, Principal Dr. M. A. Bhavikatti presided over the ceremony. Mr. Arshad Kadli, our esteemed alumnus and AHM member was present as the Guest of Honour and urged the students to be innovative. HOD Dr. T.M.P. Rajkumar welcomed the gathering. Zia ul Haq presented the vote of thanks. Kaleemuddin hosted the ceremony.
