A talk on ‘Introduction to Cognitive Computing and How Startups are adapting it’ was organized by the forum of Computer Science students (Foci) on 9 September 2017. Cognitive computing is the simulation of human thought processes in a computerized model. Cognitive computing involves self-learning systems that use data mining, pattern recognition and natural language processing to mimic the way the human brain works.
The speaker Radhesh Kanumury leads the Global Entrepreneur Program for IBM India and South Asia. He mentors Startups to see how their Business Models can be enhanced, identifying areas where technology can play a role. And lastly guide them if IBM would have a role to play in Technology and Go to Market. He is mentor to Incubation Centers and Engineering Universities.
Prof. Zameer Ahmed welcomed the gathering at the inaugural function. The function was presided over by Principal Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed. Prof. Rizwan Shaikh delivered vote of thanks.
