A one day workshop on Solar Photovoltaic namely ‘PV Fundamentals to Applications with Hands on Experiments’ was conducted in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dr. Sreeraj E.S, Assistant Professor and Head of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology Goa) was the chief guest. Inaugurating the function he told about the threat due to global warming and a large opportunity in the field of renewable particularly solar energy.
The president of the function Jb. Kashimji Muhammad Ansar released PV Lab Manual during the occasion. Prof. Anil Kadle convener of the workshop explained about the course of workshop. Principal Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Bhavikatti appreciated the efforts by ‘team electrical’ in organizing the workshop. More than 100 participants from different institutions participated in the workshop. All the faculty member of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering explained different experimental set ups in PV Lab in the afternoon session to the participants.
