With over three decades of experience in the field, Prof.Imamhusen Patil specialized in Industrial Power Automation and Power System.Prior to joining this field he has Eight years of Industrial experience in Textile Industry and Power Plants. His career has been marked by significant contributions by bridging Industry and Institution gaps. He is expertise in Reactive Power Management in Industries and Power Systems, PLC & SCADA,Industrial controls, Energy Efficiency Technologies in Industrial Applications.Workshops on Ractive Power Management, Industrial switch gear control and PLC-SCADA has been conducted.

  5. Worked 5.8 Yrs. for Forbes Gokak Ltd Ltd.’s Textile mill at Gokak Falls,Gokak,Belguam as a Maintenance Engineer.
  6. Worked 1.5 Yrs. for Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd.’s power project Mani Dam Power House under  M/s PES Engineers  Ltd.,  Hyderabad,  the  erection  contractors  as a   supervising engineer (Technical) involved  in the Errection ,Commissioning  and Operation of the Generating Units.

  6. Maintenance Engineer (01.02.2008 to 30.12.2010)
  7. Deputy Chief Superintend for VTU exams.  

 

Contributions:

  1. Regular Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance are carried out.
  2. 11kV/440V Transformer Switchyard regular maintenance work carried out.
  3. New Metering Cubicle Installation work carried out.
  4. Power Control Panel installation work and cabling work in control room carried out.
  5. Campus UPS maintenance work carried out.
  6. Maintenance works of three Diesel Engine Generators are carried out.
  7. Pump house, hostel and college maintenance work carried out.
  8. Installation of Power factor improvement panel carried out.
  9. AITM extension building electrification consultancy, cable laying, material procuring etc. works carried out.
  10. Degree college DG connection work,and UPS Consultancy works done.
  11. Consultancy for DG to Jamiya Masjid,Bhatkal.
  12. Executing the responsibilities of in charge of CSE/ISE HOD, coordinating works of computer hardware maintenance and Campus WIFI Internet Connectivities.
  13. Effectively executed responsibilities of Senior Warden, encountering ragging and indiscipline issues.
